chicoritmo began in 2006 as a Turntablist influenced by the percussive latin roots of Hip-Hop and House, later launching his formal DJ and cultural management career in Monterrey in 2019. Shaped by the competitive Hip-Hop scene, he continually expands his musical range and technical skills.

Known for his distinctive style and curation, he performs regularly at top Monterrey venues such as TOPAZ Deluxe, Boreal, IOOI, Meteoro Disco and French Fried, and othe national venues such as Departamento Studio Bar, Bar Oriente, Magic Dolphin Bar, among others.

Beyond DJing, his goal is to promote and preserve the Club and DJ culture across northern Mexico through the creation and management of projects such as ownthemusic, RLND Sessions (Roland Coffee Bar), The Fader Method, hifirecords, and Public Dynamics Hi-Fi Audio.

Up to date he continues to develop new musical projects and culturally meaningful experiences to propel the local DJ scene forward.
